One-hundred years ago, a chittix scientist was roaming through the jungles of Sporg. On that day he witnessed a small borka fall out of a tall tree. As it hit the ground, it was liquified into a gelatinous mass. The chittix stored the remains in a canteen and allowed it to ferment for several days. While he was swimming upstream, the water seaped into the canteen and mixed with the borka sludge, which thinned out the compound. The stupid chittix had forgotten about the contents of the canteen and began to drink it. At first he was shocked! He'd never tasted such a substance. He went home to his lab to analyze the liquid. He discovered it had a revolutionary new property. The chittix decided that since the borka was a carbon based lifeform mixed with a liquid, he would call the new property: carbonation. Over the next several months, the chittix found that many other things could be combined through carbonation. He mixed water with fruits, plants, herbs, and even other animals.

As months went by, the new, carbonated beverage had become very popular among the chitti. It was requested in every tavern and local Chittix Mart. However, one day, a quirx was visiting the village and he stopped into one of the taverns for a drink. He asked to try something new and the bartender served the quirx the new drink. The quirx was amazed and said it was the best tasting drink he'd ever had. He asked the bartender who was the genius who had invented it. The bartender replied, and the quirx went to visit the scientist. When the quirx met the scientist, he pulled out a gun and demanded the scientist hand over his research or the quirx would blow a hole in his head. The chittix complied and released all his files to the quirx. After the chittix revealed the main ingredient was borkas, the quirx shot him dead and burned his lab. Then the quirx herded all the villagers into the town square and tied them up. He ordered all the chitti to swear that he was the one who had invented the new drink and if anyone denied such, he would hunt them down and slaughter them and their families. Then the quirx lit the village on fire and all the witnesses were burned to death.

When the quirx returned to Woosh, he named the drink Borka-Cola and gave out samples to all the beverage vendors in town. Borka-Cola was a success and earned the quirx lots of money to which to funded his franchise. Borka-Cola could not be imitated and destroyed all its competitors. Since that time, Borka-Cola can be found just about anywhere and funds nearly all the sporting events in the galaxy, as well as a few charities. Borka-Cola is a piece of quirx heritage, and has made a better life for us all. Drink Borka-Cola!
